About Boulder Seventh-day Adventist Church

The first Seventh-day Adventist family came to Boulder in 1871. The first church was organized in the home of Henry Pierce, 905 Arapahoe in 1879. The first church in Colorado was built at the S.E. corner of Broadway & Mapleton in 1880. The congregation moved to a brick structure at 7th and Highland in 1898. The Boulder Colorado Sanitarium was built in 1895, and the present church is located on the S.E. corner of its campus.
