Since 1958, the little New England house on 541 Riverside Avenue has been home to the Mansion Clam House. Originally a 'fried clam shack,' the Mansion Clam House has now evolved into one of the premier seafood restaurants in Westport, Connecticut. The restaurant now boasts a menu that features a great variety of food, from raw Littleneck clams, to steak, chicken and excellent pasta dishes. Among the many dishes, executive chef Rigo Lino's New England clam chowder received considerable acclaim for its excellence, as it has won the 2011 and 2012 ChowdaFest competition for best New England clam chowder.
