As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Florida License (MH 8305) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (MT2800) I am in private practice in Panama City, Florida. I am a Certified Sex Therapist and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have specialized training in trauma resolution to include Cognitive Processing Therapy as well as Trauma-Based Eriksonian Hypnotherapy and various techniques associated with same. A great portion of my practice focuses on children and their families with referrals from various local agencies because of my modality and experience with proven results.'In my practice, I see patients via pre-scheduled appointments and work directly with them in a one-on-one setting or in a group setting. In order to evaluate their issues, develop appropriate treatment plans, and then implement those plans, I conduct personal interviews, perform various diagnostic assessments, and enlist the cooperation of a wide assortment of collateral professionals, including: psychiatrists and other medical professionals; behavioral, vocational, and occupational therapists or specialists; educators; attorneys and family court staff (including judges); and peer therapists within the local area. I consult with other professionals for many reasons, often to arrange for auxiliary services for clients. I have extensive experience as a Parenting Coordinator and have proven success in working with families that are transitioning through a divorce. '
