About Perduco Education

Perduco is a unique educational entity, perhaps a bit unconventional at first glance.



Though constructed completely of familiar and conventional parts over the past three years by thoughtful parents, students, and an educator, what has emerged often leaves one enthusiastically pursuing understanding, pondering its significance, or simply nodding his or her head in confounded approval. By dissecting Perduco, one might recognize the various components, proclaiming triumphantly, ""Oh, so it's a school!""



At Perduco, members are simply connecting things, things that are already collectively familiar to us, or things we want to learn more about, such as child behavior, organizational structures, curriculum materials, systems, technology, teaching and learning, processes, family challenges, deductive reasoning, cultural standards, etc. It's a wonderful work in progress.



Perduco emphasizes positive personal values, high achievement, and meaningful participation in the learning process (self-directed learning) and the greater learning community.
