About Designing Women of the Carolinas

Marva Williams, Allied ASID is a native of North Myrtle Beach with family ties to the Ocean Drive area since the early 1950's. A graduate from Winthrop University School of Interior Design, Marva returned to the area after graduation and started her design career which has spanned over 25 years.

Marva spent 4 ½ years as a sales manager for an area furniture store and oversaw 6 designers. In 1998, Marva received her real estate license where she specialized in residential, second home, and investment properties. After the birth of her daughter, Marva returned full-time to interior design forming Marva Bell Williams Interior Design Inc. in 2003.

Marva has assisted local homeowners as well as many out of state vacation and investment property owners with new properties as well as refurbishment. Marva formed Designing Women of the Carolinas, LLC in early 2006, offering her clients the benefit of having a capable and experienced designer to assist them.
